Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS) has dismissed Malam Garba Ahmed, a staff member, over allegations of involvement in fraudulently mobilising unqualified students for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). The dismissal was confirmed in an official bulletin released by the university's Director of Information and Public Relations, Ismaila Mohammed Yauri. The action was taken following an investigation by the university's Governing Council, which found Ahmed culpable of the misconduct.
