In a statement by Registrar and Chief Executive Professor Dantani Wushishi, schools, proprietors, principals, and commandants of secondary schools were reminded that the normal registration deadline is Monday, 25th May 2026, with late registration ending on Friday, 29th May 2026. "The last date for the normal registration of candidates by schools is Monday, 25th May 2026, while the deadline for late registration is Friday, 29th May 2026, with no further extension," the statement said. Schools are urged to meet these deadlines to ensure candidates can sit for the SSCE, which affects eligibility for tertiary education and scholarships. Failure to register on time may disqualify students from the examination.
