Troops conducting Operation FANSAN YANMA eliminated 65 bandits in a joint ground and air assault in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State. The offensive targeted a bandit enclave in Munhaye village, located behind Kunchin Kalgo. Among those killed was Kachalla Iliya Sarki, the son of a wanted bandit leader. Military sources confirmed the operation was carried out by Nigerian Army units supported by air assets from the Nigerian Air Force. No casualties were recorded on the military side during the mission. The troops recovered firearms and ammunition from the scene. The military described the operation as a major setback to bandit activities in the region. No civilian harm was reported during the offensive.
