"ADC, NNPP and any other parties are parties of jokers who could not make any meaningful political gains despite their groupings," he said.
He urged residents not to be swayed by the ADC's recent overtures to disaffected politicians, calling such moves mere political euphoria. Yusuf reaffirmed his support for President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election, praising him for economic improvements and infrastructure development across geopolitical zones. "Mr President has been doing his best for this country," Yusuf said, adding that Kano State stands fully behind Tinubu's re-election bid. He also used the occasion to campaign for a second term as governor, promising expanded investments in education, healthcare, agriculture and youth empowerment if re-elected.
