American rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has returned to the live performance scene in the United States with a sold-out show at the 70,000 capacity SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The two-hour concert, which took place on Wednesday, featured songs from his new album 'Bully' as well as older hits like 'Can't Tell Me Nothing', 'Power', and 'Runaway'. Ye was joined on stage by his daughter North West and American rapper Don Toliver. This performance marks his first full live show in the US since 2021, following a backlash over his antisemitic behaviour.
Ye's antisemitic posts in 2022 led to a significant fallout, with the songwriter losing major fashion and business partnerships, including Adidas, Balenciaga, and Yeezy. In a tweet at the time, he used Nazi imagery and made statements praising Adolf Hitler, drawing widespread criticism from fans. However, in January 2025, Ye apologised for his actions, describing them as "reckless" and blaming his untreated bipolar disorder and a brain injury sustained in a 2002 car crash.
