NELFUND has dismissed claims of an increase in the monthly upkeep allowance for student beneficiaries under its scheme. The Fund stated that it has not approved any hike in the stipend, contrary to reports suggesting an increase to N25,000.
According to NELFUND, the approved monthly stipend for student beneficiaries remains N20,000. This clarification was made in a statement issued on Monday by the Fund.
The statement was aimed at addressing what NELFUND described as misinformation circulating about the upkeep allowance for student beneficiaries.
