The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has announced the opening of applications for the 2026/2027 Foreign Post-Graduate Scholarship Programme. Eligible Niger Delta applicants can now submit their entries online through the official NDDC scholarship application portal.

The programme aims to equip young people with relevant training and skills for effective participation in the Federal Government's local content programme and for global competition across professional fields. The scholarship covers various professional disciplines, including Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, and Medical Sciences.

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must hail from the Niger Delta region, hold a First Class Degree or Second Class Upper Division, and be under 40 years of age. The application deadline is 19 April 2026.

Applicants are required to upload specific documents, including a recent passport photograph, Local Government Identification Letter, post-graduate admission letter from a recognised overseas university, and relevant degrees from recognised universities.

The selection process involves shortlisting candidates based on WASSCE/NECO results and undergraduate degree classification. Shortlisted candidates will take part in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) in Rivers State, with a minimum score of 70% required to move to the next stage.
