Tunji-Ojo's call for tolerance and unity sounds hollow when delivered alongside a holiday announcement that does little to address the daily realities of division and economic strain. These holidays will offer a brief respite, but they won't bridge the gaps in policy that leave many Nigerians struggling to afford basic needs.
