The African Democratic Congress (ADC) reported that more than 500,000 Nigerians registered as members between April 1, 2024, and mid-June 2024. This surge followed the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) decision to delist Senator David Mark as national chairman and Rauf Aregbesola as national secretary of the party. The party attributed the influx to renewed public confidence in its leadership and structure. Malam Bolaji Abdullahi, ADC's national publicity secretary, shared the figure via a post on his official X account. He stated that the party had recorded massive membership growth across 25 states. The ADC described the development as a sign of growing support for its political agenda.
