**Tragedy on the High-Speed Expressway: Teenager Dies After Being Hit by Truck**
In a shocking incident, an 18-year-old boy, Mohammad Moin, lost his life after being hit by a speeding truck on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Haryana's Nuh district. Moin, a Class XII student from Shahpur Nangli village, was filming a video with his friends when the incident occurred.
According to reports, Moin and his friends, including Mohammad Shaad, had ventured into the high-speed expressway, a restricted area for pedestrians, to create content for social media. The group was walking along the shoulder of the expressway, posing for the camera, when a speeding truck approached from behind.
The truck, which was reportedly attempting to overtake another vehicle, veered onto the shoulder and crashed into the teenagers at high speed. The impact was so severe that it threw the boys several feet into the air.
The horrifying moments leading up to the crash were captured on the smartphone used to film the video. Eyewitnesses rushed the injured teenagers to the nearby government hospital in Mandi Khera, where doctors declared Moin dead. His companions, Shaad and the third friend, are currently undergoing treatment for their injuries.
The police have launched an investigation and are searching for the unidentified truck and its driver, who fled the scene immediately after the accident. This incident serves as a grim reminder of the dangers of venturing into restricted areas, especially high-speed expressways, for the sake of creating content.
In Nigeria, we have seen similar incidents where people have lost their lives while trying to capture dramatic videos or photos. This incident in Haryana is a wake-up call for us to prioritize our safety and well-being over the desire for social media likes and followers.
