Nigerian filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has shown off his vintage car. Taking to his Instagram page, he shared photos of his red vintage car, stating that he is stuck in the ancient but still blended with the new world. “I’m stuck in the ancient but still blended with the new world”. Earlier this week, Afolayan had won hearts as he treated Odunlade Adekola, Toyin Abraham, Mercy Aigbe, Timini, Kamo State, Bolaji Ogunmola, Yemi Solade, Ronke Oshodi, Kiitan Bukola, and more to a small party at his film village. Kunle expressed how important it is for him to celebrate them, especially the younger creatives among the team. Last year, the Anikulapo filmmaker hailed Ekiti State Governor Seyi Makinde for keeping his promise to reconstruct the road to his film village. Kunle said the road opens doors as it is a corridor of possibility for filmmakers, farmers, young creatives, and the entire local economy. Also, last year, he unveiled his 115-seater cinema. He shared a video of himself, Seyi Vodi, and others checking out the cinema, celebrating himself for the great work he has done in movies and the entertainment industry. Two years back, Kunle Afolayan got invited to join the OSCARS voting academy, a year after his movie was rejected. Expressing gratitude for the invitation, he noted how it is another opportunity for him to serve. That same year, the Filmmaker was among the 50 people conferred with Officer of the Order of Nigeria (OON). The film producer expressed gratitude to the government for the honour. Early last year, Afolayan lamented the high level of incompetence in Nigeria. He pointed out the irony that many cry about not having a job, yet when they get one, they become inefficient.
