The "Play, Swim and Grow Initiative 2026" was launched to improve sports infrastructure in the school, including the construction of modern play equipment and a swimming pool.
Over 2,000 participants attended the event at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, with Ruby House scoring 189.2 points to emerge first, ahead of Sapphire House with 187.2 points. Various events, including football, basketball, and athletics, were featured, and Sapphire House won both the football and March past competitions.
The event was a celebration of teamwork and sportsmanship, with the Proprietress Beatrice Okoyen urging students to compete fairly and value participation alongside victory. The PTA Chairperson, Barr. (Mrs) Patricia Eric Samuel, called on parents and stakeholders to contribute towards the N250 million project to provide world-class facilities for the students.
A special guest, Agbedi Yeitiemone Frederick, commended the school's vision and investment in sports infrastructure, stating that sports help instil discipline, resilience, and leadership qualities in young people.
