The health crisis began while he was on a movie set, where he suddenly experienced severe pain and was rushed to the hospital. In an interview with Feel Right News TV, Ogogo recounted how the condition deteriorated rapidly, forcing doctors to place him on intravenous feeding. He described the period as one of the most difficult in his life, saying, "I was literally starving, watching people eat while I couldn't swallow anything." The actor, who has featured in dozens of Yoruba-language films, credited early diagnosis and consistent medical care for his recovery. Ogogo urged the public to take abdominal pain seriously and not rely on over-the-counter medications without consulting a doctor.
