The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has denied reports of increasing the monthly upkeep allowance for student beneficiaries from N20,000 to N25,000.
Contrary to the reports, NELFUND has maintained that the approved upkeep allowance remains at N20,000 per month.
In a statement, the Fund urged students to disregard the misinformation and rely on official communication channels for accurate updates.
NELFUND Director, Strategic Communications, Mrs Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, signed the statement, which advised students to contact the Fund directly for further information.
