Four children were killed in a knife attack at a kindergarten in Kampala on Thursday, police confirmed. The suspect, a man in his thirties, entered the Ggaba Early Childhood Development Program school in Makindye Division by posing as a parent. He fatally stabbed three boys and one girl, all around two or three years old, while 14 children were present at the facility. Police spokeswoman Racheal Kawala stated the man had previously visited the school to enroll a child, paid the admission fees, and was instructed to return this week, which may have allowed him access. Officers arrested the suspect after deploying tear gas to control an angry crowd that had gathered at the scene. The motive behind the attack remains unclear as investigations continue. The school has been cordoned off by security forces as forensic teams collect evidence.
