The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mock test. Candidates can check their results by sending "MOCKRESULT" via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number registered for the examination. A minimum of N50 airtime balance is required on the line used for registration.
A total of 224,597 candidates registered for the mock exam, with 152,586 sitting the test across 989 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide. JAMB has delisted over 20 CBT centres following technical issues observed during the exercise. The board warned against fraudsters, particularly on WhatsApp, who claim they can alter scores, stating such actions are criminal and may lead to cancellation of registration or results. The main UTME begins on Thursday, 16 April 2026.
JAMB's release of the 2026 mock results via SMS offers a quick feedback channel for candidates ahead of the main UTME. With over 20 CBT centres delisted, students in affected locations may face reassignment, impacting their exam-day logistics.
