Sector Commander Aishat Saadu announced the deployment of 11 patrol vehicles, one towing truck, and sufficient personnel across strategic locations in the state. The operation, which began ahead of Easter, aims to enhance traffic management, clear obstructions quickly, and respond promptly to emergencies. All unit and outpost commands have been mobilised to support the effort.
Aishat Saadu emphasized sustained enforcement of traffic laws, public enlightenment, and advocacy against speeding and dangerous driving. She urged motorists to ensure their vehicles are roadworthy and to comply with traffic regulations. Road users were reminded to cooperate with FRSC operatives and to contact the emergency number, 122, when necessary. The commander reiterated the Corps' commitment to protecting lives and property on the roads. She wished all residents a safe and peaceful Easter celebration.
