Tinubu Support Group concludes Ramadan feeding in FCT
**Tinubu Support Group Wraps Up Ramadan Feeding in Abuja, Urges Party Appointees to Support Members**
The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) has concluded its annual Ramadan feeding programme in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, with a strong message to party appointees. Speaking at the grand finale of the event, the organization's Director General, Dr. Umar Tanko Yakasai, emphasized the importance of supporting members of various support groups.
The TSG, which has been working tirelessly to support the current administration, has seen its members receive recognition and rewards in the form of federal appointments. Dr. Yakasai noted that while not everyone can receive appointments due to limited positions available, those who have been appointed should make efforts to support their colleagues.
"This is a way of distributing patronage and supporting the President's efforts to reward party faithful," he said.
The event, which brought together leaders from various support groups, Muslim and Christian faithful, party leaders, government appointees, and youth and women leaders, was a significant gathering in Abuja. In attendance were notable party leaders, including Hon. Mercy Almona-Isei, a former member of the House of Representatives from Delta State.
Hon. Almona-Isei used the occasion to call on Nigerians to put aside tribalism and religious bias and rally behind the current administration. She noted that the coincidence of Ramadan and Lent this year serves as a lesson in unity, emphasizing that without peace, progress remains impossible.
The TSG's Ramadan feeding programme is a testament to the organization's commitment to supporting the less privileged in society, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan. The event demonstrates the TSG's efforts to promote unity and understanding among Nigerians, regardless of their background or faith.
As Nigeria continues to navigate its challenges, events like the TSG Ramadan feeding programme serve as a reminder of the importance of unity, peace, and cooperation. By working together, Nigerians can build a brighter future for themselves and generations to come.
