President Bola Tinubu has requested the Senate to approve a significant increase in the 2026 budget.
The proposed increase of N9 trillion would raise the total budget to an unspecified amount.
Tinubu's request was made in a letter addressed to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, which was read at plenary on Tuesday.
