Dayton Webber, a 31-year-old American man with no arms and legs, has been charged with multiple counts of murder following a fatal shooting in Maryland. The incident occurred on Sunday night during a joyride involving Mr. Webber and three friends. An argument broke out, resulting in the suspect shooting Bradrick Wells, who was sitting in the front passenger seat.
The shooting left the two other occupants in the back seats in shock, and they reportedly refused Mr. Webber's request to help drag the victim's body out of the car. Instead, they scrambled out after the suspect had stopped, allowing Mr. Webber to drive away with the victim's remains still in his car. The victim's body was found two hours later in a yard on Newport Church Road in Charlotte Hall, following a resident's tip.
Police officers arrested Mr. Webber at a hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia, where he was seeking medical treatment. He is currently awaiting extradition back to Maryland, where he will face charges of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, and other related offences. Mr. Webber's condition, resulting from a bacterial infection at a young age, has not hindered his ability to engage in activities such as competitive cornhole, where he holds a notable position.
