The new Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Bode Ojajuni, has officially assumed duties at the command's headquarters Eleweran, Abeokuta on Monday. Ojajuni replaced Lanre Ogunlowo, who was recently promoted to the rank of an Assistant Inspector General AIG. Speaking during at the command's headquarters, Ojajuni asserted that under his watch, there would be zero tolerance for abuse of office, indiscipline, incivility towards members of the public, violations of human rights, and corruption.
