The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has announced the successful candidates for the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 34/2025. The list was released following the conclusion of the Selection Board Interview conducted at the NAF Base in Kaduna from 12 January to 8 February 2026. The announcement was confirmed in a statement issued by the NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Ehimen Ejodame, on Saturday in Abuja.

Selected candidates are required to verify their names on the official NAF recruitment portal for further directives. They are to begin a six-month Basic Cadet Training programme at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Afaka, Kaduna, on 18 April 2026. All candidates must report with original credentials for documentation.

The NAF warned that any candidate who fails to report by 6:00 p.m. on 20 April 2026 will automatically forfeit the offer. Only those who complete the training and are formally commissioned will become full officers in the Nigerian Air Force.

💡 NaijaBuzz Take

The April 20 deadline for reporting to NDA Afaka carries real consequences for DSSC 34/2025 candidates—miss it and the offer vanishes. This isn't a test of skill but of discipline and punctuality, traits the NAF clearly values from day one. For Nigerians pursuing careers in the military, the message is clear: precision in process matters as much as performance.
