Temitope Adewale, lawmaker representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 1 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, has publicly backed President Bola Tinubu's bid for re-election in 2027. He made the declaration at a political gathering called "Renewed Hope Easter Fiesta in Lagos," attended by local stakeholders. Adewale attributed his support to Tinubu's policies and the progress recorded under the Renewed Hope Agenda. He stressed the need for continuity beyond 2027 to consolidate ongoing gains.

Adewale highlighted several projects executed in the constituency, including the construction of a stadium and rehabilitation of 90 roads. He listed welfare packages, medical outreaches, education support, widows' empowerment, and skill acquisition programmes as part of government interventions. The lawmaker urged residents to register for permanent voter cards and ensure they collect them ahead of the next election. Over 500 bags of 50kg rice, chickens, and cash were distributed to constituents during the event. Former Deputy Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government, Kamorudeen Sunmonu, commended Adewale's outreach and endorsed Tinubu's re-election, citing strong performance and reforms.
