The Plateau State branch of the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has criticised Governor Caleb Mutfwang over his recent broadcast addressing the Anguwan Rukuba killings in Jos North Local Government Area. In a statement issued by its chairman, Abubakar Sadiq Yusuf, the group accused the governor of failing to acknowledge Muslim victims in the crisis. The statement highlighted perceived issues of inclusivity and fairness in the governor's remarks, suggesting that Muslim communities affected by the violence were overlooked. MURIC demanded a more balanced approach in future communications regarding such incidents.
