Hon. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, the lawmaker representing Ideato Federal Constituency in Imo State, hosted constituents based in Abuja on Tuesday for an interactive session. The event, organised by the Ideato Peoples Assembly, provided a platform for Ugochinyere to present his legislative achievements and community development efforts since assuming office. Ugochinyere outlined projects executed in health, education, and infrastructure, including the renovation of primary healthcare centres and the provision of solar-powered boreholes in several communities. He stated that his office facilitated scholarships for 47 students in tertiary institutions and supported small business owners with grants. "We are working within our capacity to deliver dividends of democracy," Ugochinyere said.
He urged constituents to remain patient and engaged, assuring them that more projects were in the pipeline. The gathering also served as an avenue for residents to express concerns about insecurity and poor road networks in the area. Ugochinyere promised to relay these issues to relevant agencies for action.
