Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has been left overwhelmed following a testimony of a man and his 27-year battle with addiction. The former controversial actress, via her Instagram page, reposted the video of the boy’s testimony, where he revealed how his 27-year addiction to hard drugs had been broken after hearing Tonto’s testimony about her own addiction. An excited Tonto said she will never get used to the incredible ways God chooses to use someone as little as her and her testimony. She said God’s grace is truly overwhelming. Expressing pride in him, she vowed to keep boldly declaring that what God can’t do doesn’t exist. “God truly is God all by Himself! I will never get used to the incredible ways God chooses to use someone as little as me, or to my testimony. His grace is truly overwhelming. My brother, I am so proud of you and deeply excited for all that God is doing in your life. May El-Roi, the God who sees, continue to reveal His wonders through you and take you from glory to glory. And we will keep declaring it boldly: What God cannot do does not exist! How will you shout?”. Late last year, the mother of one shared a testimony on her healing from addiction and masturbation. She revealed that she began smoking at the age of 13 due to her father’s influence and smoked for 27 years before the addiction was completely broken. She also revealed that she struggled with alcoholism, and battled masturbation. A day back, during her weekly outreach, she had stormed a school where she conducted deliverance on a student. She noted how God delivered her from the Marine world so she could become an instrument in His hands to deliver others. Unbothered by the dragging, she shared more videos from the deliverance as she credited her Maker for the testimony, and expressed gratitude to her Maker for the privilege to be a vessel in His service. Tonto made it known that she is focused on Jesus and her assignment. Four days back that Tonto had announced that she had ditched the ‘King’ in her name after 8 years. She revealed that this decision came in obedience to the Holy Spirit and God’s will for her. She admonished the public to address her as Evangelist Tonto Dikeh. Last week, the movie star had visited the children and women’s world at National Hospital in Abuja, where she laid hands on them, prayed for them, and also blessed some with cash gifts. She said the pain in the ward was visible and tangible, and at some point, she couldn’t bring herself to walk away from the children’s ward. Since turning 40 last year, Tonto has embraced a Christian life and as ditched her previous controversial lifestyle. Last month, the movie star had graduated from the Discipleship class. Tonto said her journey with God has been the most healing, stretching, overwhelming, and beautiful experience of her life, and that no one can convince her there is no God. In an Instagram post, the movie star issued a clarion call to Christians to deepen their prayer lives. Sharing a video of her praying, Dikeh admonished the public to open their heart to receive a miracle, as she was fighting for her life, her destiny, her child, and her generation.
