Senate Approves $6bn Loan Request in Record Time
The Nigerian Senate has given its nod to a $6 billion loan request submitted by President Bola Tinubu, just three and a half hours after receiving the letter. The approval was facilitated by President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, who read out the letter from the President.
The loan request, which was submitted by the President, has been approved, paving the way for the disbursement of the funds.
