Yusuf’s ex-commissioner Doguwa emerges Kano APC chairman Former Commissioner of Water Resources, Umar Haruna Doguwa, has been elected the new chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State. Doguwa was elected alongside other party executives at its State Congress held on Wednesday at the Sani Abacha Indoor Sports Hall, Kano. The new party executives were returned elected through consensus. At the end of the election, conducted by a team of officials from the APC national headquarters in Abuja, Doguwa and the other new executives were returned elected through a voice-vote affirmation by the 2,420 delegates drawn from the 44 local government chapters of the party in the state.
