Uba Charles has made a permanent transfer to Alesunds from Lillestrom SK, signing a two-year contract with the Norwegian club.
The 23-year-old Nigerian defender joined Lillestrom last year from Ljungskile SK, but has now moved to Alesunds after a brief stint in Sweden with Mjallby AIF on loan.
In his 12 matches for Mjallby in the Allsvenskan last season, Uba Charles managed to score one goal.
The defender has expressed his excitement about joining Alesunds, saying it feels good to be part of the club.
Uba Charles prefers to let his performance on the pitch speak for him, rather than talking about himself in interviews.
Uba Charles' move to Alesunds is a significant development for Nigerian football, with the young defender looking to make a name for himself in the Norwegian league. His performances will be closely watched, particularly after his impressive stint in Sweden. With a two-year contract in place, Uba Charles is likely to be a key player for Alesunds in the coming seasons.
