The appointments by President Tinubu underscore his administration's commitment to reforming key institutions. The selection of Ibrahim Ida as CAC Chairman and the nomination of seven Federal Commissioners for the National Population Commission suggest a deliberate effort to revamp the country's administrative machinery. The President's confidence in the appointees' abilities to deliver results is a welcome development. However, the success of these appointments will ultimately depend on the appointees' ability to navigate the complex bureaucratic landscape and deliver tangible results.
