Mojisola Hunponu-Wosu, Founder and President of Woodhall Capital, urged women to shift from "income thinking" to "ownership thinking," stating, "For too long, the corporate narrative for women has been centered on climbing the ladder for a better paycheck." She emphasized that long-term financial independence requires moving beyond salaries to building equity and legacy. Moroti Adedoyin-Adeyinka, Executive Director of Financial Strategy at Sahara Group, stressed the importance of character in corporate advancement. "Hard and smart work is crucial, but character is the compass," she said, adding that integrity must be prioritized as much as technical competence.
Oluwasola Obagbemi, the convener, reiterated the platform's mission to develop women who are not only skilled but also emotionally and socially resilient. The 2026 edition was supported by organizations including BellaNaija, Providus Bank, Ego Foundation, and Shea Tribe, reflecting a broader corporate commitment to advancing women. As International Women's Month 2026 concluded, the initiative reaffirmed its focus on creating a sustainable community for professional women to exchange experiences and lead with confidence.
