This expenditure surpasses the N400 million monthly wage bill of the entire local council. He stressed that security consumes more resources than human resources and social responsibilities combined, adding that the peace currently enjoyed is not accidental but a result of sustained effort.
Garba acknowledged that while some residents may doubt government actions, those familiar with the situation recognize the scale of commitment. He warned that threats to peace extend beyond bandits to include informants and divisive individuals within communities. The deputy governor urged residents to remain vigilant, avoid aiding criminal elements, and prioritize unity over political interference. He also commended the governor's leadership for enabling farmers to return to their fields without fear, calling on youths to reject manipulation by politicians.
