**Nigerian Economist Rewane to Headline RCCG Economic Summit**
The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Lagos Province 20, is set to host a highly anticipated economic summit on March 21, 2026, at the Christ the Lord Parish in Lekki Phase 1. The event, titled "Positioned for Advantage in a Shifting Economy," will bring together key stakeholders, including policymakers, investors, and entrepreneurs to discuss strategies for economic growth, wealth creation, and sustainable development.
Renowned economist, Bismarck Rewane, will deliver the keynote address at the summit, which will be open to both physical and virtual participants. The event is part of the church's efforts to empower Nigerians economically, as part of its Christian responsibilities. According to Assistant Pastor Tunde Netufo, the church aims to promote economic literacy and build resilience among citizens in navigating the country's economic realities.
The summit will feature panel discussions on personal wealth creation, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and the impact of taxation on individuals and businesses. Sola Adesakin, founder of Smart Stewards Financial Advisory, will speak on personal wealth and financial empowerment, while Chidi Okpaluba, a social entrepreneur with experience in business development, will focus on SMEs.
Nike James, a partner at KPMG, will provide insights on taxation, highlighting the importance of understanding tax policies introduced by the Federal Government. The panel sessions will be moderated by Uwa Osa Oboh, principal at African Capital Alliance.
The RCCG economic summit is expected to contribute to national development and deepen understanding of economic issues affecting Nigerians daily. It is an opportunity for citizens to engage with experts and policymakers on strategies for growth and development in a shifting economy.
