President Bola Tinubu has approved the extension of the ban on the export of raw shea nuts for one year, from February 26, 2026, to February 25, 2027. The presidency announced the decision in a statement on Wednesday,February 25. The extension comes a few hours to the expiration of the six-month ban, which came into effect on August 26, 2025.
