Rivers State Police Command Declines Responsibility for Peace Moses' Death
A 26-year-old lady, Peace Moses, has tragically lost her life after being knocked down by a convoy of about 15 fast-moving vehicles around Omega Junction in Rivers State. The incident occurred last Monday evening.
According to eyewitnesses, Peace Moses was a resident of Akwa Ibom State but was visiting friends in Rivers State at the time of the incident. The victims' body was taken to a nearby mortuary for autopsy.
The Rivers State Police Command has now issued a statement denying any involvement in the tragic incident. The command claims that the death was not reported in any of its divisions or units across the state.
The police have, however, promised to investigate the incident and identify those responsible for the fatal accident.
