The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, has called on newly installed community leaders and family heads to prioritize security in their domains. This appeal was made during the installation ceremony of 14 Mogajis and eight Baales at the Oja-Oba Palace in Ibadan. The ceremony marked the first installation of Mogajis and Baales since Oba Ladoja's own installation on September 26, 2025. The Olubadan emphasized the importance of security, stating that it is one of the greatest challenges facing Nigeria. He urged the newly appointed chiefs to be vigilant and share information with their neighbours to ensure the safety and security of lives and property.

The installation ceremony was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Oba Tajudeen Ajibola, Balogun of Ibadan, and other members of the Iyalode-in-Council.

Oba Ladoja also warned that Ibadan would not stop the crackdown on land grabbers, who pose a threat to security. He encouraged the newly appointed chiefs to sensitize youths on the need to join security agencies during recruitment exercises.
