Former Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi's brother, Tony Obi, is at the centre of a public divorce plea and allegations of long-term abuse.
A woman claiming to be married to Tony Obi has made the claims in a viral social media video. In the video, the woman, identified as Diamond Princess Obi, accused the Obi family of 18 years of abuse.
She alleged that the abuse included being pushed and publicly embarrassed during a condolence visit for the late Chioma Obi, Mikel's sister.
The woman also accused Mikel Obi himself of being involved in the alleged abuse.
As of Tuesday, neither Tony Obi nor John Obi Mikel has responded to the allegations, which remain unverified and have not been linked to any known legal proceedings.
