Devo allegedly crashed a “girls’ trip” to Austin with Bri McNees, Ashley Carpenter, and Priyanka Grandhi (truly, why is Austin always the scene of the crime?) without telling his then-fiancée, Brittany Wicker. Though Devo and Brittany had called off their wedding at this point, they had different ideas of where their relationship stood—she kept her ring on, and he allegedly told the other girls they were over for good. After she confirmed the timeline of the trip—which occurred in April 2025, two or three weeks after the cast stopped filming—Bri claimed, “It was gonna be a girls’ trip” but “Devo is a friend of ours, a good friend.” She noted that her boyfriend, Connor Spies, was also invited but “does not do well on flights.” Per Bri, he chose to stay home after being “exhausted” from filming the Netflix reality show. She added, “It was the most innocent type of trip,” before she called out Devo for his lack of honesty with Brittany. “I was like, I did not know this part that you’re telling her it was a work trip, and she didn’t know we were all going,” Bri shared, adding that Brittany only found out about his lie during the reunion. Netflix Bri continued, “Because I was so honest with Connor, and Connor was like, ‘Yeah, go. It’s a girls’ trip, Devo’s going, whatever.’ He trusts me.” She clarified that she didn’t know Brittany was still wearing her engagement ring at the time and suggested that they could’ve talked it out during their press tour but that Brittany decided to bring it up during the reunion.
