Lagos State University (LASU) has announced that students can participate in the Opay National Innovation Challenge 2026 through the university's Centre for the Actualisation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (LASU-SDG). The challenge, organised in collaboration with Opay Digital Services Limited, requires students to form five-member teams. Each team must develop and submit one tangible, original idea via the Opay Application Portal.

The portal is set to open in March 2026, and students are encouraged to form teams early to allow sufficient preparation time. Submissions must come exclusively from teams, not individuals. For guidance and follow-up, students should contact the LASU-SDG Office, located on the 3rd Floor of the Babatunde Raji Fashola Senate Building at LASU Main Campus, Ojo.

💡 NaijaBuzz Take

The requirement for five-member teams in the Opay National Innovation Challenge 2026 means LASU students must coordinate early to meet the structure before the March 2026 portal opening. This could limit participation to students who can quickly form diverse, committed teams.
