Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has finally spoken out about the drama surrounding the alleged snub between Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham at her film's premiere. According to Iyabo, the incident was just the tip of the iceberg, with the two actresses having a long-standing tension between them.
The drama unfolded on Sunday night when Toyin approached Funke and other guests to greet them, but Funke appeared not to acknowledge her before walking away. Iyabo, who attempted to mediate between the two actresses, revealed that she had pleaded with them to settle their differences, even going so far as to kneel down and beg them to make peace.
However, Iyabo explained that tensions resurfaced in December after Toyin allegedly raised concerns about her movie performance in cinemas, suggesting possible sabotage. This reignited the rift between the two actresses, with Iyabo expressing disappointment over the renewed public drama.
