Forum begs Lawuru to contest Warri Federal Constituency seat
**Lawuru, Please Run for Warri Federal Constituency Seat**
Leaders from Warri Federal Constituency in Delta State have approached All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, High Chief Promise Lawuru, also known as Ozigizaga, with a proposal. They are urging him to run for the House of Representatives seat in the 2027 general elections. The leaders, drawn from the three major ethnic groups in the constituency – Ijaw, Urhobo, and Itsekiri – are under the umbrella of the Warri Federal Constituency Peoples Forum (WFCPF).
According to Dcn. Engr. Godspower Benekiegha, who spoke on behalf of the forum, the decision was made after extensive consultations and a careful evaluation of Lawuru's humanitarian record and leadership qualities. Benekiegha emphasized that Lawuru's humanitarian personality and pedigree have made him an ideal candidate for the seat.
The forum expressed their appreciation to Governor Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori for his pragmatic and result-oriented leadership in Delta State. They also passed a vote of confidence on the Governor and President of Nigeria, Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
The WFCPF is hoping that Lawuru will accept their proposal and run for the House of Representatives seat. They believe that his involvement in the election will bring about positive change in the Warri Federal Constituency.
It is worth noting that the Warri Federal Constituency has been plagued by political instability and underdevelopment. The people of the constituency are yearning for a leader who can bring about tangible change and improve their living conditions. If Lawuru decides to run for the seat, it could be an opportunity for him to make a difference in the lives of the people.
The people of Warri Federal Constituency are eagerly waiting to see if Lawuru will accept their proposal and run for the House of Representatives seat. Only time will tell if this will be a turning point for the constituency.
