According to Odusote, the current administration has demonstrated remarkable competence and leadership capacity, which is repositioning the country towards economic growth and long-term sustainability. He cited several initiatives, including the reintroduction of student bursaries and ongoing federal infrastructure projects, as indicators of effective governance. Odusote specifically highlighted the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the Badagry-Sokoto Expressway as major infrastructure projects that reflect the administration's commitment to national development.
The APC chieftain also praised the revival of bursaries and other support programmes for students, describing it as a positive step that should be acknowledged. He warned that opposition based on ethnic considerations would not advance national progress.
The APC's claims of ethnic bias and hypocrisy in opposition to President Tinubu's re-election bid are a thinly veiled attempt to deflect criticism of the administration's policies. The fact remains that many Nigerians are struggling to make ends meet, with rising inflation and unemployment rates.
