UMUAHIA – The founder and General Overseer of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja, Pastor Paul Enenche, has lauded Governor Alex Otti of Abia State for carrying out a massive transformation of the state, especially the cleanliness of the cities in the state. Pastor Enenche, who is currently in Abia State on a two-day healing and evangelical crusade, expressed joy at the level of cleanliness of Aba, the commercial city of the state and Umuahia, the state capital. Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, who is in Abia with his wife, Dr Becky Enenche, said he was amazed at the speed of development in the cities and how the huge refuse dumps at strategic places in the cities were carted away, thus making the cities so clean and beautiful. He said, “I was speaking in Aba yesterday. I said, there is a prophetic plan and agenda of God for this state, particularly Aba, where there is a revolution of industrialisation, manufacturing, and production that would turn the place into the Dubai of Africa, which will make people come. “I said that this state is one of the places that will make this nation proud. At least, there is something Nigeria has to offer. And so, I would like you to know where you are, and I believe that the Lord will grant us the grace as a state to accept the responsibility and to do what needs to be done”. “Your Excellency, we appreciate how much heart you have both for God and for the land – heart for God; heart for the people. We trust the Lord. I was surprised, and I said, ” Is this Aba that I am in, clean street? Where is the heaps of rubbish on the road; where are they? None! I even saw a water fountain at the roundabouts,” the visiting pastor declared. Speaking at the crusade ground, Otti described Pastor Enenche as a true servant of God who the Almighty God is using to bless not only Nigerians, but the entire world. “I want to thank him for the healing and restoration that has happened here. “This happened in my presence, and that shows that God is still at work. And, I want to thank him for the humility to acknowledge that the miracles are not done by him; it is God. “Whatever we do, we must always remember that we can plant, somebody else can water, but the increase comes from God. That is what the Bible says,” Otti stated. He used the forum to thank the people of the state for their continued support for his government, adding that his government is a government established by God for the people. He declared, “I want to thank all of you for the support you have given this government. Like I have always said, this is your government—a government with no godfather, a government that God brought Himself. Therefore, we have no choice but to work for our people”. Reacting to Pastor Dr. Becky Eneche’s demonstration of how clean Aba is, Governor Otti said, “On the cleanliness of Aba, I want to assure you that more remarkable development to the state; we’re just starting. “Pastor Becky was demonstrating how clean Aba has been, and I say she hasn’t seen anything yet, because we are just starting. So, there is still a lot to do. “Umuahia is also wearing a new look. Very soon, we will commission the Umuahia Central Bus Terminal, which I am told is the biggest bus terminal in the country. Drawing inspiration from the Bible, the Abia governor urged the people not to be worried about those who are not happy with the ongoing rebuilding and transformations in the state. He declared, “The Bible says they’ll gather, but their gathering will be in vain.”
