Nasir El-Rufai, the former Governor of Kaduna State, made a court appearance on Tuesday, days after attending his late mother's burial.
The court hearing, which is part of El-Rufai's corruption trial, took place at the Kaduna State High Court in Kaduna under heavy security.
Mr El-Rufai's trial is a result of proceedings instituted by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission.
