The Kwara State government's response to the pleas of Christian leaders remains to be seen. Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's emphasis on love and humility is commendable, but concrete actions are needed to address the rising petrol prices and erratic electricity supply that are crippling citizens. The state government must take proactive measures to prevent loss of lives and property, especially as the Easter celebration approaches. The Christian faithful are right to call for a review of the constitution to address contemporary challenges, including unemployment. It is time for the government to demonstrate its commitment to the welfare of its citizens.
