**"Breaking Barriers in Edtech: CcHUB Launches $100k Fellowship for Underserved Communities"** In a bid to bridge the education gap in Africa, Co-creation Hub (CcHUB) has announced the fourth cohort of its EdTech Fellowship, a programme that has been instrumental in empowering education technology startups across the continent. With a focus on communities often overlooked by mainstream solutions, this year's selection will identify 12 innovative startups that can provide vital support to people with disabilities, refugees, rural communities, and young girls and women. Since its inception, the CcHUB EdTech Fellowship has supported over 70 startups, reaching a cumulative total of over 700,000 learners across Africa. With a 90% ratio of learners being children and youth, and nearly half being female, the programme has demonstrated its potential to create a more inclusive education landscape. For this year's cohort, however, the emphasis is on startups that can thrive in complex environments, where Internet access is limited, and school systems are under-resourced. As part of the EdTech Fellowship, selected startups will receive a $100,000 grant, as well as a 12-month incubation programme that includes mentorship, technical support, and access to ecosystem partners. This comprehensive support system aims to enable startups to refine their products and scale sustainably, ultimately leading to measurable impact in the lives of learners.
