Bill Cosby Accuser Andrea Constand Testifies in Court for Other Accuser
**Andrea Constand Takes The Stand Again to Support Another Victim of Bill Cosby**
You may remember Andrea Constand, a Canadian woman who played a crucial role in sending disgraced actor-comedian Bill Cosby to prison. Now, she has taken the witness stand once again, but this time for a different case. Constand is currently testifying in a civil lawsuit filed by 84-year-old Donna Motsinger, who claims Cosby drugged and raped her in 1972.
Motsinger, a former waitress, says she was 31 years old when the alleged incident occurred. She claims Cosby invited her to one of his comedy shows and later drugged and raped her at his home. Constand and two other women are being called as witnesses in the civil case because their stories share similarities with Motsinger's.
During her testimony in the Los Angeles Superior Court, Constand recounted her own horrific experience with Cosby in 2004. At the time, she was the director of operations for the women's basketball program at Temple University in the United States. Cosby was her mentor, being a notable alumnus of the college.
Constand described feeling "really shocked," "humiliated," "fearful," and "scared" after Cosby gave her three pills that incapacitated her before sexually assaulting her at his Pennsylvania home. Her testimony is a testament to the courage she showed in coming forward with her story.
It's worth noting that Cosby was previously convicted of three counts of aggravated indecent assault for drugging and molesting Constand in 2018 and sentenced to 3 to 10 years in prison. Constand's testimony played a significant role in securing Cosby's conviction.
Motsinger's case is a reminder that the allegations against Cosby are not just limited to one person. Many women have come forward over the years, sharing their own stories of how Cosby allegedly drugged and assaulted them. It's heartening to see Constand continue to support these victims in their pursuit of justice.
