The Nigerian Army has killed 10 suspected terrorists during coordinated military operations in Plateau State. The offensive, carried out under Operation Wutan Daji, took place on Thursday in Wase and Kanam Local Government Areas. Troops targeted known terrorist movement corridors around Daba and Seri villages, establishing blocking positions between Dutsen Zaki and Odare Forest. A confrontation occurred when armed men on motorcycles approached the area, leading to a firefight. Several suspects were killed, while others escaped with suspected gunshot injuries.

The military recovered 10 bodies at the scene along with combat materials. Items seized include two motorcycles, 25 litres of Premium Motor Spirit in jerrycans, one AK-47 rifle, and a magazine loaded with 7.62mm special ammunition. The operation focused on disrupting terrorist logistics and mobility in the region. According to an operational report obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), troops remain on high alert and continue offensive sweeps in the area. The Nigerian Army stated that it is maintaining sustained pressure on terrorist networks to restore security in affected communities.
