In Kayode/Fadeyi Ward H, Mrs Samiat Shotayo of the APC polled 3,820 votes, ahead of Mr Ifeanyi Onwenu of the ADC with 260 votes and Mrs Omobolanle Shotayo of the NDP with 28 votes. In Bajulaye/Fola Agoro Ward F, Mrs Kehinde Jolaosho of the APC secured 2,546 votes, defeating Mr Ifeanyi Anyamebechi of the ADC, who received 157 votes, and Mr Joseph Abalokun of the NDP, who scored 23 votes.
LASIEC released the results after collating votes from the affected wards and made the result sheet available to journalists. The commission stated the elections were necessary to maintain democratic representation and effective grassroots governance in the affected areas.
The APC has replaced three deceased councillors with new candidates, all winning by margins exceeding 2,500 votes.
