A local political party youth wing leader was arrested in Tamil Nadu, India under the Protection of Children from S3xual Offences Act in connection with the d3ath of a two and half years old girl he r@ped. The Anchetty police arrested the suspect identified as Periyanayagam, 40, of Sesurajapuram, on Friday. According to an investigation officer, Periyanayagam was having an affair with a 24-year-old woman, who was separated from her husband and living with her parents. The young woman had a daughter aged two and half years in her marriage. "She took the toddler to a private hospital at Anchetty on Dec 11, 2025, stating the child had seizures.
